Tynachos

Tynachos is a Wood Elf Enchanter and a Wizard in the Mages Guild, and can be found on the top floor of the guild hall in Almas Thirr. While the leader of the chapter, he largely delegates the administrative work to his deputy, Dalyne Maryon, while he pursues his interests-veering-on-obsession in soul collection and enchanting. These pursuits are grudgingly tolerated by the other members, with the Wood Elf Lorviel begrudgingly accepting the task of selling Tynachos' many creations.

During the course of the Mages Guild questline in Almas Thirr, Tynachos will send you to collect ever rarer souls from ever more powerful beasts, being distinctly unimpressed with any lesser variants that you might bring him. In turn, he willingly rewards you with castoffs from his enchanting work. The Wood Elf himself expresses a desire "cultivate an appreciation for the art of enchanting in the superstitious lot that pass through this crossing", but shows no appreciation of Dark Elf customs. For example, he is completely unrepentant when another Mages Guild member, Hlanas Arthalen, confronts him about the collection of the soul of an animal sacred to the Indoril, and also expresses nothing but enthusiasm if perchance you should happen to come into possession of the spirit of one of the Tribunal.
